In your dream, you never really die. What if what you are never really die in reality too?

If you understand that your true nature is deathless, will your priority in life change? By True Nature, I am not taking about you as a physical person…

Is it possible to have liberation without some form of renunciation?

Is it possible to engage in the madness of conventional living and yet achieve some stable form of liberation?

I think not. Best of both worlds just doesn’t happen. Oil and water do not mix. It may sound pessimistic, but it has consistently been my findings.

Can you be passionate about making tons of money and yet be resting the mind at the same time?

Can you want recognition and yet be accepting of being a nobody?

Additionally, whom we interact with also have an impact. This is especially so with serious relationships.

My personal opinion is that dreams are a way for the deep subconscious mind to communicate with the conscious mind of a person.

The way I see it is that consciousness is multi-layered or multi-dimensional. The different layers of consciousness are well.. different from one another. For example, our personality self is different from the subconscious mind.

My theory is that dreams are an intermediate state of consciousness connecting the conscious personality self to the subconscious layer of mind. Dreams arrange and display the content and information of the subconscious mind into a format is that understandable and cognizant to the dreamer’s conscious mind.

To me, symbolism is a way for the deep subconscious mind to enable the conscious mind to be aware of its inner workings. Therefore dreams are a kind of symbolic playing/acting of deep mind’s content.

By understanding the meanings of the dream via the interpretations of its symbols, we are able to vaguely figure out what may occur in the near future. How is this possible? There’s no definite answer to this. My personal take on this is that many life events are not really concidences. Instead they are the manifestation of the dynamics that are working within the deep subconscious mind. This inner workings step-down the multi-dimensional concsciousness and eventually manifests as events in our physical world. Dreams, are the intermediate layer of consciousness between conscious personality self and the deep subconscious. As mentioned earlier, dreams are a symbolic representation of deep mind’s inner workings. So, by interpretation of the dreams, we can roughly deduce deep subconscious mind’s dynamic around that period of time. By the time, the dreams are being dreamt, the deep subsconscious mind’s dynamics have already started the stepping down process into physicality.

This article is a general description regarding dream interpretation and analysis.

Firstly, we need to know that there are multiple types of dreams.

Some dreams reflects what we are currently experiencing in our daily life. These dream reflects our feelings, fears and desires. For example, if we are feeling stressed about certain things, the stressful situations and feelings may be played out in the dream.

Another type of dream expresses what we repress inside us. For example repressed feeling for a person may be played out in a dream.

With regards to the scenes, people, animals and objects that appear in our dreams, we can generally regard them as symbolic representations pertaining to certain values or meanings that we hold. Typically, the different characters in a dream can very likely be some kind of symbolic representation of parts of our personality and inclinations. Very often, the dream symbols carry semantics and meaning that are specific to the individuals. However, there are also generic dream symbols as well.

As a practice, the feeling and emotion of the dream provides much clues to the significance and ‘message’ of the dream.

We will use a real dream example to illustrate the process of dream analysis and interpretation.
To uphold the privacy of the Dream Subject, let’s give him a fictitious name call Alex.

In the dream scene, Alex opens a door and enters what seems like a room. In the room, there seems to be someone or something. It cannot be seem and is felt as an invisible presence.

In the dream scene described above, there are dream symbols within. If you use the Dream Diary Assistant, the software will help by highlighting possible dream symbols within the type-written dream scene.

The symbols are listed below:

Door: may be referring to potential opportunities. The action of opening the door may symbolises the ‘opening’ of an opportunity.

Room: House, Building represent self. The rooms represent various aspects of it. Also represents body.

Invisible Presence: This Presence could mean a part of self. The fact that it is unseen thus invisible could mean that this part or personality of the self is not consciously being aware by the dreamer. It is a part of his or her character that the dreamer is not aware of.

Our Analysis of the Dream

Alex’s entering of the room signifies that he is coming into contact with a characteristic/part of himself. Because the Presence is unseen, he was, at the time of the dream, not consciously aware of this tendency of himself.

Nevertheless, he should be able to better understand this aspect of himself, in the future, since the door was opened.

That’s it. Hope that the general dream interpretation process is clearly illustrated here and is easy to replicate.
